Third Book in Trilogy Completed

le as an audiobook. It was wonderful to work with John Witzel to bring his audiobook series to audio, and I hope you have a chance to enjoy his work either in print or audio.

When a regional CIA director refused to accept the fact that the U.S. was doing nothing to free Bonnie McCord, a DEA agent working undercover in a country that forbid DEA presence, he used his contacts to gather a seasoned group of retired Special Forces to free her.

Saving Bonnie is available at Audible, Amazon and Apple. Here's a sample of the action.

Recording Completed

After contracting to produce the two remaining books in Lt. Col. John Witzel's, award winning Rob Madden series, the first work in the project is now done.

Saving Tres Rios, the first book in the series, introduces us to Rob Madden.  When Rob stops in Tres Rios New Mexico, on his way to begin work on his doctorate in education at Stanford, he has a run-in with a local drug lord.  To escape from a corrupt legal system, he agrees to teach troubled kids at a local rural school, rather than face prison time.  He works miracles with his students, the local police force, and the tiny Tres Rios community, while settling a score with local drug lord.  The book was an Indiefab Finalist for Foreword's Book of the Year Award.  It is available at Audible, Amazon and Apple.

Contract Signed

I am delighted to have been selected by Lt. Col. U. S. Air Force (Retired) John Witzel and Lisa Pelto, President of Concierge Marketing, to narrate two more of John's historic action novels, giving me the privilege of narrating the entire trilogy.  This project intially began as narration of the second book in the series, Saving Vengeance which was released in January.  John has since asked me to reproduce the first book in the series, Saving Tres Rios, and to narrate the third book, Saving Bonnie.

Saving Vengeance, Rob Madden Series, Book 2

I just finished work on the audiobook version of Saving Vengeance, the second book in the Rob Madden Series. The book is a thrilling story about an Air Force Senior Master Sergeant who finally gets his chance to avenge the terrorist killing of his wife and daughter described in Saving Tres Rios, while gathering critical information about a terrorist group's access to a nuclear weapon. It was a finalist for the Eric Hoffer awards.

The audio version of the story is available at Amazon, Audible and Apple Books.

Unlike most work I do with authors, this book gave me the chance to meet the author, John Witzel, over lunch. John is the real deal, having retired after a 22-year career as a U. S. Air Force Lt. Colonel.  Among positions as a navigator and instructor, he also served as a combat planner, and it shows in his writing. He also volunteered, in 1980, to serve as a member of the team that attempted to rescue U. S. hostages abducted during the overthrow of the Shah of Iran.

If you like stories that move quickly, with some interesting twists and turns, this one's for you! Here's a sample from the opening.

The Thomas Keating Reader

The Thomas Keating Reader is a wonderful introduction to the extensive writings of Thomas Keating, a Trappist monk who is one of those credited with beginning the Centering Prayer movement.  For a quarter of a century, Fr. Keating contributed articles on centering prayer—the contemporary manifestation of the ancient Christian contemplative tradition—to the newsletter of Contemplative Outreach, the organization that he helped establish to promote this tradition. The Thomas Keating Reader gathers for the first time thirty of those articles (some never published elsewhere) to offer a valuable overview of some of the main strands of Fr. Thomas’ thinking and practice on centering prayer, lectio divina, and interreligious dialogue. It offers a broad introduction to the concepts that have animated Contemplative Outreach and reveals the gifts and challenges of the practice of the spiritual life.

The audiobook is available on Audible, Amazon and Apple Books.  A sample is provided here:
